Colorado AI is a movement to make the AI era work for you. The payoff is real: more money, more time, more security, and the freedom to live the life you choose.

The framework's three pillars
The framework has three pillars, Lead, Govern, and Protect. They aim at one thing, an AI era that leaves every Coloradan better off, with a lower cost of living, a real stake in what gets built, and the security of strong protection. Colorado builds the AI economy at home, runs the state on AI, and holds AI to the same standard we hold ourselves.
This framework works with the national AI framework released March 20, 2026, and keeps child safety, fraud, and consumer protection in the state's hands.
Lead
Colorado already builds what AI runs on, the chips, the renewable power behind them, and the quantum cluster that invents what comes next, and can turn that build into lasting jobs, a real ownership stake, and a lower cost of living for Coloradans.
Govern
Colorado already serves hundreds of thousands of Coloradans, and can run the state on AI so permits clear in days, waste gets caught before it leaves, and people get their time and money back.
Protect
Colorado already holds people accountable for causing serious harm, and can hold AI to the same standard, not a new compliance regime. Both the person who misused an AI product and the company that built it answer, and Coloradans have real recourse.
